Paton Cottage - Inverness

We spent two nights at this place and had a great time, with milk and porridge provided, in a fantastic location in the heart of the city and with delightful staff.

Quiet hotel, we truly enjoyed the AMAZING staff and fashionable room. The location was marvellous and excellent - very close to bus station and the river and main attraction, railway and bus station. We had lunch at nearby Frisco Popcorn Factory, tried their fast food options. The breakfast had variety of options, including milk and oatmeal.

My good-sized and beautifully designed room included comfortable bed, central heating, tea/coffee making equipment and television with satellite channels.

Deluxe double room had all the basics covered, like a coffee maker, a fridge, and glasses for drinks. ☕.

We got great value for our money at Paton Cottage. The room was spotlessly clean and had a small fridge, great to have a leisurely breakfast whenever we wanted and even pack a picnic lunch. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center, and the host, Rosemary, was really good. She was friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about the area and making sure we had everything we needed.

Lovely stay for our Christmas getaway! the cozy room was perfect and the host was wonderful, even greeting us with chocolates and bubbly. the continental breakfast provided in our room was a great touch, allowing us to have a leisurely start to our day. the fridge in the room came in handy, especially during the unusually warm weather. Plus, the location was ideal, within easy walking distance of all the festive sights!

The layout of the cottage was a bit compact, but it was cleverly designed, so it didn't bother us much. we did miss having a common area to interact with other guests, as it felt more like staying in an Airbnb.

The only downside was that the bathroom was not directly connected to the room.

Great for those with physical handicaps.
